Dr Phillip Zoldan and his wife have recently relocated to Hobart from Sydney. Being in an environment that is focused on being with people who have time to be human, polite, kind and friendly is paramount to the Zoldans.
Dr Zoldan holds a Bachelor of Dental Surgery University of Sydney, is a Fellow of the International College of Dentists, the Pierre Fauchard Academy and the Academy of Dentistry International, and has a Certificate of Qualification in the Educational Applications of Generative Learning and Neuro-Linguistic Programming.
He was also Clinical Tutor at Westmead Clinical Dental School, Sydney as well as a Senior Lecturer and Senior Clinical Associate at the Faculty of Dentistry, University of Sydney since the late 1980’s.
In the early 1980s he pioneered conservative aesthetic dentistry in Australia and since 1982 has lectured in this field extensively within Australia and internationally, both at the undergraduate and post graduate levels, his emphasis being on treating teeth conservatively whilst achieving long term aesthetic and clinical success.
Internationally he has spoken at conferences in USA, Bali, Philippines and Hong Kong and has toured South Africa and New Zealand speaking to clinicians in various cities.
Within Australia at the post graduate level, he has lectured to dental groups and societies in all Australian states and at national and state conferences. At the undergraduate level, he has lectured at the dental schools in Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide, and has assisted the Dental Assistant’s Association in their training programme.
His clinical career centres around optimising patients’ complex care requirements and always providing help as though he is treating his loved ones.
Apart from his private practice and teaching commitments, Dr Zoldan was the ADA national spokesperson on aesthetic dentistry and served on numerous committees in various roles from Chair etc.
Currently he serves as a Councillor of ADA Tas. Branch as well as having served for18 years on ADA NSW Council,
He is renowned for his sense of humour, both in the confines of a treatment facility and privately, is a keen golfer and private pilot.
