Practice Managers

Bonnie has worked solely in dentistry since 1984, working as a dental nurse in both general and specialist practice. She has a special interest in Sterilisation and Infection Control as well as Occupational Health and Safety. Bonnie is actively involved with the Sterilisation Council Research and Advisory Council. Under the governing body of the Australian Dental Association, Tasmanian Branch, Bonnie was Infection Control Monitor for Tasmania. Bonnie is committed to maintaining the highest level of sterilisation and infection control at Bayfield Dental.

Bonnie gained Certificate III and IV in dental assisting as well as certification in Disinfection and Sterilisation in Office Practice. Bonnie liaises with many Tasmanian hospitals with regard to infection control and sterilisation.

Bonnie has two sons who keep her on her toes and challenged. In her spare time, she enjoys; keeping fit and healthy, bushwalking and travelling with family and friends.

Sandra was born and educated in Hobart. Sandra has been working at Bayfield Dental for over 25 years and has experienced great satisfaction contributing to and seeing how Bayfield Dental has grown during that time.

Sandra comes from a legal background and following the birth of her children decided on a career change. Sandra is a very experienced practice manager and enjoys the day to day challenges that a multi-dentist practice presents. As practice manager, Sandra strives to create a happy, yet extremely professional work environment where patient care is viewed as paramount.

Sandra enjoys helping patients achieve their dental goals through good communication at the front desk and by being a facilitator between the patient and the dentist when required.

In her spare time Sandra enjoys spending time with family, friends and past and present work colleagues. Sandra loves cooking, travelling and playing Hockey.

Andrea began at Bayfield Dental as a dental assistant and has progressed to assistant practice manager. She enjoys the interaction with patients at the front desk and recognises the crucial role she plays at the practice, being the first contact that patients make at Bayfield Dental. Andrea also enjoys the close bond that she has made with the other members of staff.

Outside of work Andrea is an avid movie goer and cherishes the time she spends with her family on holidays at Saltwater River.

Amanda started at Bayfield Dental in 2004 as a Trainee Dental Assistant.

Starting out in the sterilisation department, then obtaining a Certificate IV in Dental Assisting, Amanda nursed for several years before moving to her current position as receptionist, becoming Assistant Practice Manager in 2012. Amanda however, enjoys from time to time assisting in the dental surgery when required. This enables her to maintain her clinical skills.

Amanda thrives on being busy. She takes great pride in being able to assist patients to make their dental visit a more pleasant experience and introducing new patients to the practice.

Amanda enjoys cooking, knitting and spending time with family and friends.

Penny was born and raised in Tasmania she is one of 13 children.

Penny and her husband ran a successful Security Company for many years before deciding to have a sea change and moved to a little seaside town in which she started working with Dr Jeff Mount as a Practice Manager. In 2016 Penny joined the team at Bayfield Dental. Penny is the Practice Manager at the Bayfield Dental City practice. She enjoys introducing patients from Dr Jeff Mount’s Hobart Dental to the new Bayfield Dental City practice. Penny prides herself on making the transition for these patient a successful one.

Outside of work Penny loves the outdoors and travelling. Penny is very proud of her three daughters and was thrilled to recently welcome her first grandchild.
